SOLD 3/4 Size Violin - Maidstone c1910

This lovely 3/4 size violin is in excellent condition with no repairs or restoration.

It is likely to have originated in Germany and then imported by the Maidstone company, although not currently labelled.

It has a quality ebony set-up with Helicore strings and a professionally cut bridge.

The varnish is of golden/amber colour, but looks a bit patchy on the back.

It has a two-piece maple back of medium flame - the same wood is used for the ribs and scroll.

Suitable for a beginner looking to reach Grade 4/5.

Length of back 339mm.
