Terrific French Violin labelled "2 premiers prix exp. Melbourne, Geronomio Grandini Senior, 140 rue St Charles Paris". (numbered inside pegbox). c1925.

Once again, another violin which punches well above its' weight. Powerful, but with depth and roundness, ease of playing, even across strings.

Excellent condition, just a few small scuffs to varnish/edges.

Golden amber varnish with a lovely broad flamed two piece maple back.

Chamfers picked out in black.

New set-up with rosewood fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Pro Arte strings.
