This antique small viola - only 15 1/4", has been fully restored and is ready to play.

It is in good condition with a professional restoration to the front which is fully firm (not near soundpost or bass bar).

Original varnish is plentiful.

It has a two-piece lightly flamed maple back and matching ribs. Lovely dark brown varnish with an amber ground.

Excellent tone for a small viola in this price range, good projection and easy response across strings.

It has a new set-up with quality ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Prelude strings.

Length of back 390mm.

This is a great sounding instrument suitable for students or the discerning amateur.
