This lovely quality small sized viola is in excellent condition with no damage or restorations, practically mint. Just a few minor scratches to varnish.

No label but possibly English.

It has a good looking two-piece flamed maple back. Lovely golden/amber varnish, original throughout.

Good quality making and excellent tone for a viola in this price range, easy response across all strings.

It has a new set-up with quality rosewood and ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Prelude strings.

Length of back just over 15 1/4" / 392mm.

This is a great sounding instrument suitable for a college/academy student or discerning amateur.
