This lovely antique full-size violin is likely to have originated from the Dresden area of Germany - no label.

It has some lovely flame on the two-piece maple back and the same wood has been used for the ribs and neck. Good quality making throughout with tidy corners and purfling.

Fabulous condition - practically mint. Wonderful tone, easy response across all strings.

It has a new set-up with quality rosewood fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Helicore strings.

It has a lovely warm golden/amber oil varnish which is completely original.

Length of back 360mm.

Suitable for a serious student and the discerning amateur.
