SOLD French Violin imported by Thomas Craig 1913

This is a lovely antique full-size violin from France, imported by Thomas Craig (Aberdeen) dated 1913.

It has a delightful tightly flamed two-piece maple back. The same wood has been used for the ribs and neck.

Fabulous condition - practically mint. Lovely toasty/nutty colour.

Superb tone, easy response across all strings.

It has a new set-up with quality ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Helicore strings.

Length of back 360mm.

Suitable for a serious student aiming for grade 8 and above and the discerning amateur.
