SOLD French Violin School of Caussin c1890

This violin is in excellent condition but with some wear to the varnish. Peg holes have been bushed. No signs of cracks or other restorations.

Label reads "Pietro Antonius dalla Costa".

It has a new set-up with quality ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Helicore strings.

It has a brown varnish and a plain two-piece back.

Typical full arching for a sweeter tone, but still plenty of volume.

Length of back 360mm. Suitable for a student aiming for Grade 6/7.
