This antique French School of Caussin violin is in good condition. It has a tiny hairline to the lower back (completely firm) and bushed peg holes.

Label reads "Copie de Gaspar da Salo in Brescia".

It has a new set-up with quality ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Helicore strings.

It has a golden/amber varnish and a nicely flamed two-piece back.

Typical fuller arching for a sweeter tone, but still plenty of volume.

Length of back 359mm. Suitable for a student aiming for Grade 8.
