This violin from the Markneukirchen area of Germany has a fairly tightly flamed two-piece maple back. The same wood has been used for the ribs and neck.

It has a new set-up with quality ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Helicore strings.

It has a lovely warm golden/amber oil varnish which is completely original with hardly any signs of wear.

Length of back 355mm.

Suitable for a serious student aiming for grade 8 and above.
