SOLD C19th French Violin probably Justin Derazey

Lovely French full-size violin, probably by Justin Derazey but label removed.
 
Later head/neck.
 
Heavily antiqued two piece finely flamed maple back with matching ribs.
 
Medium grain to front.
 
Fuller arch through middle of violin.
 
Minor restored cracks to front and lower rib.  No bass bar or soundpost cracks.
 
Amber/brown varnish, original throughout.
 
Professionally set-up with ebony/rosewood fittings, new bridge and ProArte strings.
 
LOB: 358mm.
 
Terrific violin to play, easy response, plenty to give.
 
Suitable for a professional player.
