SOLD Violin by & labelled Hawkes & Son

Another great sounding full-size Hawkes & Son violin imported from Europe.  Labelled "The Concert Violin, registered, Hawkes & Son, Leicester Sq, London"  with handwritten in ink "908" and "II".
 
Original golden/orange varnish throughout with a glorious well flamed two piece  maple back, with a fiery glow.
 
Good condition, just some bumps to varnish and a restored hairline crack to front (not soundpost).
 
It has a quality new set-up with ebony fittings, professionally cut bridge and Pro Arte strings.

Suitable for a serious student/amateur.
