Full-size French style violin labelled "Guiseppi Maravelli fecit anno 1898".  These labels were used by Beares & Sons for imported violins.
 
Good condition, no cracks or repairs -  practically mint.

Lovely original golden amber varnish throughout.

Good looking fairly tight flamed maple two-piece back with matching ribs.

New quality set-up with rosewood and ebony fittings, a professionally cut bridge and Tonica strings.
